The earliest version of this blog was dedicated solely to films. Slumdog Millionaire (2008) was one of the main sources of inspiration for this idea. From comedies to dramas, award-winning films to hidden gems, and everything in between, I aim to interpret an applicable moral from each of them.

Series
Similar to the emergence of television from film, this blog evolved into including long-form storytelling as another avenue from which we can extract morals. The episode-by-episode format of a TV series allows for an in-depth dive into a breadth of lessons and morals from the same show.

Video Game
Despite their typically negative reputation, video games offer the most immersive form of storytelling that wholly engages its audience. As such, they can often offer incredibly powerful commentary about the human condition, and it's time we give them the credit they deserve.

The main goal.
This blog is an extension of my passion for lifelong learning. Largely inspired by Slumdog Millionaire (2008), I have made it my mission to learn from every experience in life including but not limited to the films and forms of media that I consume. All forms of storytelling will have morals that can be applied towards self-improvement in one way or another. My goal is to collect as much of those as I can in order to become the best person that I can be. Join me in this journey!
A Unique Rating Scale. "Good" is relative.
In order to avoid the implication of objectivity in a highly subjective metric, I have made my own unique rating scale instead of star ratings or letter grades.
And Category-Based Impressions. Also subjective.
Reviews will also have fairly intuitive metrics for each general category of storytelling that makes up a film, series, and/or video game. These metrics measure my highly subjective opinion of whether or not a film/series/video game stood out from others in a given category.
